Management Team Description.

Robert D. Willis, B.Sc., P.Eng

Chairman & CEO, Director

Bob graduated in 1973 from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology. He has worked in the mineral resources industry for more than 30 years.

As a founder of Geologix, Mr. Willis has acted as a Director, President, and Chairman of Geologix prior to his retirement from the Board in June of 2009. Bob also founded Manhattan Minerals Corp. and acted as President and CEO of Manhattan from 1990 to 1998 and a Director for that firm from 1990 to 2001. Under his direction, Manhattan explored many gold and silver projects in Mexico. Most notably, it explored and later placed into production the Moris gold and silver mine, a 2,200-ton-per-day open-pit heap-leach operation.

Prior to Bob’s involvement with Manhattan, he was founder, President and CEO of Pioneer Metals Corp. He was responsible for the acquisition and startup of the Stibnite gold and silver mine in Idaho, an open-pit heap-leach operation. Also under his direction, Pioneer joint ventured the Premier gold project in B.C. with Westmin Resources, which subsequently put the project into production. In the 1970s, Bob held engineering and production positions with Rio Algom and Teck Corp. at the Lornex, Afton and Highmont open-pit copper mines.

 


 

Mike Mallard

V.P. Corporate Communications

From 2008 to 2009 Mr. Mallard worked for Evergreen Gaming as V.P. Corporate Development. Evergreen had over 1600 employees operated 11 casinos.

From 2003 to 2008, Mr. Mallard worked for Geologix Explorations as V.P. of Corporate Communications and Corporate Secretary. During his tenure, Geologix developed a solid shareholder base in retail and institutional.

From 2001 to 2003 Mr. Mallard was Manager of Investor Relations for Concert Industries Ltd. Concert Industries Ltd. is a manufacturing company with revenues in excess of $120 million. It has plants in North America and Europe with over 500 employees.

From 1993 to 2000 Mr. Mallard was Manager of Investor Relations for Manhattan Minerals Corp. From 1989 to 1993 Mr. Mallard was a commodities broker, specializing in trading and speculating in the gold, silver and currency markets around the world.

 


 

Brent Hendrickson, B.Sc., M.Sc.

V.P. Exploration

Brent graduated from the Institute of Technology at the University of Minnesota with a BSc. in geology in 1978, and an MSc in geology from the South Dakota School of Mines in 1984. His M.S. thesis was done on the Jacobina gold deposit in Brazil. Brent has worked in the exploration industry for over 25 years mostly as a consultant geologist. His experience covers precious and base metals exploration in most of the western states of U.S., western Mexico, Central and South America, as well as Mongolia. Brent has been a resident of Mexico for 5 years and lives in Guadalajara. He is well versed in the rules and regulations that govern mining and exploration in Mexico and is proficient in Spanish.

 


 

Leslie Fowler

Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Fowler graduated from the University of British Columbia with a Bachelor of commerce degree and obtained his Chartered Accountants (CA) degree in British Columbia while employed by a Deloitte Touche predecessor firm.

Since obtaining his CA, Mr. Fowler has held senior positions in local government, the Canadian banking industry, manufacturing, and mining and has operated his own management consulting firm. Most recently, Mr. Fowler was CFO of Legend Power Systems Inc., a Vancouver based electrical energy consumption conservation company. Mr. Fowler is a director and founding member of the Financial Mentors Group, past president of the Vancouver chapter of the Financial Executives Institute and a past Director of the Financial Executives Institute of Canada.
